How to move your salary to SDB Wallet

01

Verify once and open your account

A photo of your government ID and a short selfie. Verification happens once, and your bank details follow.

02

Copy your bank details from the app

Beneficiary name, account number and bank code exactly as the app shows them — or share them with one tap.

03

Hand them to your employer

Payroll enters them like any bank account. No special form, no extra step.

04

Your salary arrives, and you are notified

The salary is credited to your account the moment it arrives, with a notification on your phone and by e-mail.

What you can do with it once it lands

It arrives in its own currency

Euros on SEPA, dollars on ACH, FedNow and international wires, pounds on Faster Payments.

Exchange between your currencies

Move part of your salary into another currency inside the app at a published margin on the market rate.

Withdraw to any bank

Move money from your wallet to a bank account in your own name, at any bank.

Send to family instantly

A transfer between SDB accounts arrives the same moment, free of charge.

A statement when you need one

Export your account statement from the app as a PDF — for your employer or any institution.

Follow your spending

See your monthly spending categorised inside the app, so you know where the salary went.

Before the first salary

So your salary arrives the very first time.

Your bank details are real bank details, and the same rules banks apply, apply here. Four points that keep a salary from being returned.

Copy the details exactly as the app shows them

Beneficiary name, account number and bank code come from the app, verbatim. A different name can send the transfer back to its sender.

From your employer's account

A salary arrives from the bank account of the company you work for. A payment from another individual's account may be refused and returned.

Fees are published in advance

Incoming money carries a published percentage from the fee schedule, and you see the credited amount and the fee in the transfer's details.

Every transfer is tracked

You see the transfer's stage in the app: in transit, arrived, under review, or returned to its sender.

Pricing

Every fee in one place

We do not write the numbers here, so they cannot go stale. The full fee schedule is published in the Terms and read straight from our pricing system.

FAQ

Which currency do I receive my salary in?

Euro, US dollar or British pound, depending on the account you open. The salary arrives in the currency it was sent in, and you can exchange it inside the app whenever you like.

Will my employer accept these details?

Yes. You receive standard bank details: an IBAN and BIC for euros, an account and routing number for dollars, and an account number and sort code for pounds — entered into payroll like any bank account.

How long does the salary take to arrive?

Within Europe on SEPA and within the US on FedNow, minutes after the sending bank executes it. International bank wires usually take one to three business days.

Is there a fee for receiving a salary?

Incoming money carries a published percentage from the fee schedule in the Terms, and you see the fee in each transfer's details.

Who can use this?

Any customer whose identity verification is complete, in the countries where we open bank details. The app tells you right after verification whether your bank account is available.

What if the transfer is returned?

The amount goes back to the sending account and you are notified. The most common reasons are a beneficiary name that differs from the one in the app, or a payment sent from an individual's account rather than the employer's.
